Community Ecology

About the group

Research in our group investigates a broad range of interrelated questions in community ecology and conservation biology, with an emphasis on empirical work in the field and laboratory. Particular research interests include tropical forest biodiversity, ecological interaction networks, ecosystem functions and services, host-parasitoid interactions, agro-ecology, and the impact of global environmental change on biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. We study a wide range of terrestrial ecosystems and taxa, but our work often focuses on insects and their interactions with other species.
