Research Interests

My pronouns are she/her

I am interested in immune correlates of protection to Tuberculosis (TB), focusing on humoral immunity. I previously completed my MSc at the Prince of Songkla University in Thailand, which focused on investigating cellular immune parameters associated with mycobacterial growth in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients. For my DPhil research, I am focusing on protective humoral immunity to TB, particularly characterising BCG vaccine-induced antibody responses associated with protection in Controlled Human Infection Models (CHIMs). I also aim to explore antibody responses induced by novel TB vaccine candidates. My research aims to understand the role of antibodies in protection against TB and to identify their quantities and functions. Our goal is to deepen our understanding of TB immunity and contribute to the development of more effective TB vaccines.
