Research Interests

My pronouns are he/they

My research centres on the genomics and evolution of bacterial pathogens, with a particular focus on the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). By leveraging bioinformatic advances in comparative, evolutionary and functional genomics, my aim is to provide additional insights into the evolutionary trajectories of bacterial genomes that allow AMR to arise and persist, in order to inform future approaches to containing this threat.
