I am currently working as a NERC funded research associate, exploring plant population level resilience to disturbances. I am particularly interested in employing remote sensing and image analysis approaches to determine plant population dynamics. I am carrying out research within the DRAGNet distributed network of grassland sites and helping to run the experimental node at Wytham Woods. DRAGNet explores the impacts of physical disturbance and nutrient addition on herbaceous vegetation globally. Before coming to Oxford, I worked as a research botanist for UKCEH and studied for my PhD at the University of Reading. I also worked for 10 years managing nature reserves.
